Teaching resources

We have three training modules containing teaching guidance and handouts available for you to use. We designed them particularly for those working in community organisations and who do not have legal training (intermediaries). The modules are designed to be taught consecutively but you can easily adapt them in order to teach them independently. Each module has specific learning aims as well as detailed guidance notes for each activity.

We have two e-learning modules available for you to use with your clients or community groups. They do not require you to have any legal training or even any teaching experience. They are perfect for someone new to PLE but who wants to work with individuals or a group to help build their knowledge, confidence, and skills to deal with law-related problems. One module helps users to recognise law-related problems and work out how to find out their rights. The second shows users how to avoid and deal with a benefit sanction.

‘Using this with our clients was easy and empowering. More please!’

If you have resources or tools you would be happy to share with other organisations please get in touch with us using our Contact us form.

If you use any of our resources we would be grateful if you completed the evaluation connected to that resource. We use evaluations all the time to improve our work and secure further funding to produce resources for you and your clients.
