Discrimination at work - front pageThis guide deals with how to use a grievance procedure to deal with discrimination at work. It sets out what discrimination is, and what it is not, and gives practical guidance on how to go about raising a grievance It aims to provide help at the very earliest stages of a problem and suggests ways of dealing with issues before they escalate. It directly addresses issues of confidence and stress, provides a flow diagram to illustrate process, uses a Q&A and jargon buster. It was written in partnership with a case worker in the London Discrimination Unit who provided many of the examples used and whose experience informed much of the practical guidance.
